Leeds United's Premier League status is in even further jeopardy after they were beaten 3-1 by West Ham United at the London Stadium.
West Ham, who reached the Europa Conference League final in midweek, began like a team nursing a hangover and were made to pay when a long throw-in wasn't dealt with, enabling Rodrigo to volley in.
Leeds started to concede chances as soon as they were in front and ultimately held the lead for just 15 minutes. Declan Rice, playing in what could be his final home match for West Ham after transfer speculation, scuffed a shot home after being set up by Bowen.

The second half was more subdued but Bowen broke through to grab a second in the 72nd minute, beating the impressive Joel Robles from a tight angle with a poked finish.
Manuel Lanzini then made sure of the win in stoppage time, converting after Lucas Paqueta ran away from five Leeds defenders by the corner and set him up on a plate.
It should have been more, but a combination of Paqueta, Rice and substitute Divin Mubama conspired to miss a series of big chances.
Defeat means Leeds stay 18th with 31 points, two behind Everton. Only a win over Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the season can keep them up, but their destiny is not in their own hands.
West Ham were already safe but have now hit 40 points and sit 14th.

TALKING POINT - Leeds staring into the abyss

Premier League survival is no longer in Leeds' own control, which is not a good predicament to be in. Leeds host Spurs on the last day - a very winnable game, given the London club's calamitous end to the season - but Leeds have gone eight matches without a win, so perhaps not.
Even if Leeds do win, an Everton victory at home against Bournemouth would send them down. The Cherries are already safe and it is not just local geography which would lead you to believe they are a team on the beach, meaning an Everton win is eminently possible. Leicester City, who have a game in hand, could also leapfrog Leeds and add further peril to the mix.
With all that considered, it's not looking good for Leeds and Sam Allardyce.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH - Lucas Paqueta (West Ham United)

The Brazilian is really warming to the Premier League now and was showing off today, with some glorious pieces of skill mixed into an industrious performance. No player touched the ball more and his assist for Lanzini was a thing of beauty.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS

RODRIGO FIRES LEEDS IN FRONT 17' - A long throw-in is allowed to reach Rodrigo on the penalty spot and he unleashes a thumping volley which leaves Fabianski with no chance. A huge goal for Leeds, and it had been coming.
ROBLES TO THE RESCUE 28' - The Hammers have back-to-back corners and the second leads to something of a goalmouth scramble, with Soucek shooting on the turn from six yards out, but Robles makes himself big and comes up with a vital save.
WEST HAM HIT BACK 32' - Nobody tracks Bowen, who plays a one-two with Fornals, then after the clever return pass Bowen squares for Rice and a scuffed shot bounces over a desperate defender into the goal.
ROBLES TIPS OVER 61' - Soucek, six yards out, heads down and towards goal from a corner but a full-stretch Robles tips over.
BOWEN POKES WEST HAM IN FRONT 72' - Bowen is played in by a smart Ings pass and, from a tight angle, prods with the outside of his boot past Robles into the far corner.
SUMMERVILLE ONE-ON-ONE 85' - Summerville is on the end of a through ball and one-on-one with Fabianski, but delays the shot and once it comes it is blocked.
WEST HAM MAKE SURE OF THE WIN 90+4' - Four Leeds players by their own corner flag cannot corral Paqueta, who once in the box rolls the ball past Kristensen then cuts it back for Lanzini to hammer home.
